ANTIGUA & BARBUDA FALCONS READY TO FLY HIGH IN 2025

There is great excitement in Antigua & Barbuda as cricket fans prepare to support their team Antigua & Barbuda Falcons in the 2025 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League.

The match schedule was announced today, and the Falcons start the season with a night match on the road against neighbours St Kitts & Nevis Patriots on Thursday, August 14, at Warner Park before they fly home for an exciting five matches in seven days.

Falcons owner Kris Persaud said he is again excited to have the team back on field and interacting with fans while, Jeff Miller, general manager of Falcons said he expects lots of buzz surrounding the matches in Antigua with the team playing in their second season.

“The announcement of the match schedule always attracts attention and great interest in any sporting calendar, and we are delighted that the fixtures are out, and fans can start their plans to watch the Falcons in Antigua and around the region,” Persaud said.

Miller said: “There was tremendous interest in how the team played last year, and we expect the same this summer. We have support, and we know the fans will get onboard and back the team again in 2025. The Biggest Party in Sports” will be on Antiguan soil when the Falcons face Barbados Royals on Saturday, August 16, at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. The home stand will run until Friday, August 22, as fans in the island will get to see their favorite team on show.”

Four of the five matches in Antigua will be played under the lights, starting at 7 p.m., and the other match – against the Patriots on Sunday, August 24 – will be played during the day, starting at 11am.
