Tickets on sale as DJ Chickie returns for the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons Party Stand

Cricket fans who want to feel the vibes and be the life of party, now have that wonderful opportunity. The Antigua and Barbuda Falcons announced the tickets sales for the “party stand” which will be in full effect for the upcoming Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

The Falcons Family have set up the action-packed section which will see a return of the world-famous DJ Chickie to keep the fans entertained off the field. Tickets are just US$25 (EC$65) – which gets you one of the best seats in the house and four drink chits.

Tickets are available at the ticket box office at the Antigua Recreation Ground and Rubis gas stations around the island. Fans can also purchase online at https://antiguabarbudafalcons.com/

There will be a pre-match party and fans can enjoy entertainment 90 minutes before the first ball, and there will also be an afterparty into the nighttime.

The Falcons home matches will be at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, starting with the much-anticipated debut on Thursday, August 29 against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at 8pm. Chickie – real name Nigel Baptiste – said he was delighted when he got the call to join the Falcons Family and make a return to the cricket arena.

He said: “This will be the biggest party EVER in cricket! And will be the biggest and best afterparty any sport has EVER seen… ‘cause we know how to party Antigua. This is the place where the party in cricket started, and we will show the world how to put on show. We started way back in the 80s and we still going in 2024. We’re coming back from the old school to the modern day … that’s who we are! “I know the boys will do the job in the field and I will surely do my job in the party stand. I love cricket wanted to be part of this event as you can see the Falcons have brought energy to cricket on the island. I want the whole of Antigua to come out and shout for our Falcons. We will show the world again how you party at the cricket!”

The Antigua & Barbuda Falcons are the newest franchise in the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL). They were officially unveiled during a gala opening ceremony hosted by the franchise owner, Krishna Persaud earlier this year. Their home base will be the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. The 2024 Republic Bank CPL will take place from August 29 to October 6 with matches in Antigua for the first time in 10 years.
